Chairman Aryeh Deri of the Shas Party said on Thursday that an increase in the threshold for a party to get Knesset representation should be considered. "so that there will be bigger blocs."

Interviewed by Israel Defense Forces Radio, he explained that Shas is not the only party opposed to lowering the threshold, noting, "The heads of the parties: Lieberman, Kahlon, Bennett and Lizman are opposed to lowering the threshold.
