Amazon has leased a 3,000-square-meter building in the MATAM high-tech park at the southern entrance to Haifa, according to the Globes financial publication.
Sources close to the deal in the park say that the premises will provide only temporary accommodation for Amazon until a 12,000 square meter building that the company has leased will be completed next year. Amazon will be hiring 200 software engineers in the coming few weeks.
