The official value of the shekel declined an averge of .23 percent on Monday against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.
The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.574, up .14 percent from Friday, while the Euro fell .703 percent to 4.2849 shekels, and the pound sterling was set at 4.8602, down .636 percent. There was no change in the Lebanese pound, while its Egyptian counterpart declined .595 percent.
