The Gaza health ministry reports 37 Gazans have been killed and hundreds wounded in clashes with Israeli security forces along the security fence. About 40,000 Gazans are taking part in the rioting at 12 points along the barrier and will try to breach it, according to intelligence.
In addition the rioters are burning tires and throwing rocks. An Israeli soldier was lightly wounded and taken to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon for treatment.
