At the Beit Aryeh local council in Samaria, United States flags were are flying on flagpoles alongside Israeli flags as a gesture of moving the American embassy to Jerusalem.
Council leader Avi Naim said, "The transfer of the American embassy to Jerusalem is proof that we must not stop dreaming and that we must continue to adhere to the principles of love and uncompromising construction throughout the Land of Israel. Jerusalem is the capital of the Jewish people and Judea and Samaria are the heart of the Land of Israel."
