Speaking at the King David Hotel, Senator Ted Cruz said that he believes "President Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel will go down in history as a decision of similar moment" to Truman's recognition of the fledgling State of Israel.
"By any measure, Jerusalem is the capital of Israel."
