The State Prosecutor's Office filed an appeal today with the Supreme Court against the Be'er Sheva' District Court's acquittal of Alon Hassan, chairman of the Ashdod Port Workers' Committee and his cousin, David Hassan, of all the offenses attributed to them in a recent indictment.
In the appeal, the State emphasized that the main part of the appeal is the claim that the actions that the District Court determined were carried out by the two constitute fraud and breach of trust of a public servant as well as fraud and breach of trust in a corporation.
