A court rejected the asylum appeal of two Ukrainians on Wednesday. The two, a couple in their early 20s, arrived in Israel in June 2017 as tourists, and about two weeks after their entry, they applied for asylum in Israel. Examination of the application revealed that there was no basis in the Refugee Convention for the granting of refugee status to the couple - and their request was denied.
