Chief Justice Esther Hayut lashed out at the Override Clause.
"These days are no holiday for the court system in Israel. The judiciary is under blatant and unprecedented attack which threatens, in a tangible way, its freedom and independence."
She called the Override Clause "a bad and dangerous proposal which could cause Israel irreparable damage, on the international front as well."
