In a speech at the swearing-in ceremony for judges, President Rivlin slammed the decision of the Ministerial Committee for Legislation to support the Override Clause.
"It is forbidden to change the rules of the game and the principles of democracy," Rivlin said. "In the absence of protection of minority rights, the majority takes over."
