The Ministry of Culture and Sport is considering giving incentive to cultural institutions that grant social benefits to actors, actresses and performers.
According to Culture Minister Miri Regev, "Fundamental treatment of the burning issue of artists, who sometimes reach a state of starvation, must be dealt with. Regulation in this field with give response to artists, young and old, and will preserve their rights in old age, as well."
