The Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas's military-terrorist wing, says the explosion that killed six senior Hamas operatives on Saturday in central Gaza was caused when Al-Qassam operatives found a booby-trapped intelligence device that exploded during their attempt to dismantle it for examination.
Hamas blamed Israel for the "crime" and swore revenge.
