Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said, Monday evening, that under pressure following the Gulf War in 2003, Iran shelved the Project Amad nuclear development program but not its aspirations.
Netanyahu quoted Dr. Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of Project Amad, as saying, “The general aim is to announce the closure of Project Amad,” but then he adds, “Special activities”—you know what that is—“Special activities will be carried out under the title of scientific know-how developments.”
