With the start of May at midnight Monday evening, the maximum government-controlled price of a liter of unleaded 95 octane fuel will rise a little more than 1.7 percent (11 agorot) to 6.46 shekels, including value-added tax, with the supplement for full service rising an agora (five percent) to 21 agorot a liter.
In Eilat, where VAT is not charged, the fuel price is going up nine agorot (a little less than 1.7 percent) to 5.52 per liter, while the full service supplement will rise an agora (almost six percent) to 18 agorot. The fuel price reflects an increase in international oil prices.
