The University of Haifa will present Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein its leadership award, in recognition of his public activities over the years, for his contribution and work on behalf of immigrants and for his efforts to preserve the character of the State of Israel as a Jewish, democratic and law-abiding state.
The presentation will be one of the events of the University's 46th Board of Governors meeting which will be held in June. University President Ron Rubin said that "Edelstein's personal story is inspiring and is present before the eyes of many in Israel and abroad."
