Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Saturday accused the US of "seriously aggravating" the situation in Syria.
At a meeting with the Iranian and Turkish Foreign Ministers, Lavrov said the US aims to "reformat" the Middle East and "divide Syria into parts." He also emphasized that the US' statements regarding Syria's territorial integrity were simply "cover plans" for this goal.
