The spring storm that has hit southern Israel has closed the Eilat airport and the nearby Ovda airport. Before Ovda closed, Israir Airlines Flight 6H043 was able to land there.
Highway 90 has been closed from the Arava Junction to the entrance to Eilat in both directions. Rain and hail were reported in Eilat.
