The Histadrut, the management of Osem and the workers' committee of the "frozen and chilled" sector at the company's site in Shoham have signed a new collective agreement that improves the terms of employment of about 100 drivers and assistant drivers.

The new agreement, valid until April 2020, will apply retroactively from April 1, 2015, will give them an overall salary increment of 7.3% during the term of the agreement, and upon signing the employees will receive a one-time grant of NIS 500 in purchase coupons. Other features include shortening the work week from 6 days to 5 days a week without harming wages and increasing the "refrigeration increment" from NIS 5 a day to NIS 220 a month, an increase that will be taken into account in favor of social benefits retroactively from 2015. In addition, it was agreed to increase the participation of management in the union fund from NIS 25 to NIS 30 per employee.
