Prime Minister Netanyahu eulogized Yeshivat Hakotel founder Rabbi Yeshayahu Hadari as a "lover of Israel" after the rabbi's passing on Wednesday.
"I heard with great sorrow the death of Rabbi Yeshayahu Chaim Hadari, founder and president of Yeshivat HaKotel," wrote Netanyahu on Facebook. "Rabbi Hadari, a resident of the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem, was a talmid hakham who had taught his students to love Torah, Israel and the Land of Israel. May his memory be blessed."
