Hundreds march for Israel in Ben-Gurion's birthplace

Hundreds of Poles marched this morning in Płońsk, the birthplace of David Ben-Gurion, in honor of Israel's upcoming Independence Day this coming Thursday. The event, which was initiated by Limmud FSU, the March of the Living organization and the municipality of Plonsk, was joined by Israel's ambassador to Poland Anna Azari and Poland's Chief Rabbi Michael Schudrich, and led by the mayor of Płońsk, Andrzej Pietrasik.

The mass march took place along various stations connected to the first prime minister of the State of Israel: a memorial square in the place where the house where he was born in 1886, and his uncle's home, where Ben-Gurion lived for most of his youth until his immigration to Israel in 1906.
