Consumer Price Index up .3% in March

The Consumer Price Index increased three tenths of a percent in March, compared to February, according to figures released on Sunday by the Central Bureau of Statistics. Clothing and footwear lead the increases at 4.9 percent, followed by culture and entertainment at 1.9 percent and housing at nine tenths of a percent. Prices of fresh produce decreased 3.2%.

Since the start of the year, the CPI decreased a tenth of a percent. Since March 2017, the index has gone up two tenths of a percent.
