Education Minister Naftali Bennett said this morning that "The survivors of the Holocaust were a central element in the campaign to rebuild Israel and build the state."
Writing on Twitter, Bennett noted, "Half of the pilots of the Sinai Campaign were survivors of the Holocaust, Amikam Norkin, commander of the air force, told me last night. This story is not known enough."
