The participation of broadcaster Kobi Meidan in the Rishon Lezion ceremony commemorating fallen soldiers of Israel has been canceled.
Meidan caused a public outcry at the end of last month after publishing a post in which he wrote, "Today I am ashamed to be an Israeli" in connection with the events of the terror march on the Gaza border. He has since apologized.
