A man suspected of stealing a vehicle tried to escape during a police chase at the Oranit interchange on Highway 5 on Monday evening.
He jumped out of the stolen vehicle and was moderately injured, apparently after being hit by a passing car. He was treated by Magen David Adom paramedics.
