The target of the attack on Monday morning at the T-4 base in Syria was apparently an array of drones of Iranian forces slowly strengthening their grip on the country, killing at least 14 people, including four Iranian "military advisers", according to Yediot Ahronot. While Syria, Iran, Russia and the United States say Israel carried out the attack, the only official Israeli word was a hint by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that Israel will strike its attackers first as a matter of policy.
Exactly two months ago an Iranian drone launched from T-4 flew into Israeli air space before being downed, setting off another Israeli attack on the base. It is reasonable to assume that since then Iranian forces have been working to rehabilitate the capability that was damaged in the operation.
