The official value of the shekel rose an average of .221 percent on Monday against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.

The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.532, down .141 percent from Friday, while the Euro declined .053 percent to 4.3352 shekels and the pound sterling was set at 4.9821 shekels, up three tenths of a percent.
