In 2015, a house was burgled in wealthy Tel Aviv suburb of Savyon. Among the valuable property stolen was jewelry and 200,000 shekels.
Over the years, the investigation teams that accompanied the case did not let go, and at the beginning of 2018 the interrogators managed to determine the identity of the suspect, a 40-year-old resident of the western-Samarian Palestinian Authority city of Qalqiliya who was in Israel illegally, leading to his arrest. His detention was extended several times and today he will be indicted for offenses of illegal residence, burglary and theft.
