Member of Knesset Moti Yogev (Jewish Home) said on Thursday that he has asked Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit to examine steps that can be taken against pro-Arab rights group B'Tselem, following its call on Israeli soldiers to refuse to fire at participants in the Gaza terror marches. He also asked Minister Uri Ariel to cancel National Civic Service volunteer positions for the group.
The retired colonel said B'Tselem "has removed itself from the nation." He continued, "The call to refuse an order against an enemy, in the face of terror marches cruelly led by the Hamas terror organization, is sedition and incitement that endangers the security of the communities surrounding the Gaza Strip and the security of Israel." Yogev concluded, "It is the duty of a democracy to defend itself. We will strengthen the hands of IDF soldiers and commanders, who defend our country's security day and night, Shabbat and holidays. There is no moral army in the world like the IDF."
