Chairman Yisrael Eichler of the Knesset Public Inquiries Committee told representatives of the police and the Ministry of Transportation on Wednesday evening that immediately after the holiday they will be summoned to what he called a "public hearing" on the lack of buses from the haredi-religious Jerusalem neighborhood of Mea She'arim to the Western Wall of the Temple and other destinations.

Echoing complaints to Arutz Sheva by Jerusalem residents and visitors, Eichler said, "The public feels that the secular regime has found a foolish way of collective punishment of the entire haredi-religious public because of the demonstrations [by a radical haredi group] against autopsies."
