Former Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon has attacked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's decision to formulate an outline on the issue of infiltrators and then suspend it in the face of criticism from the right. Yaalon said, "The zigzagging on migrant workers/infiltrators/refugees joins the zigzaggings in the Schalit deal, Elor Azaria, the magnometers and more. Leadership leads according to the compass of the interests of the State of Israel, not in the weather vane of polls, Facebook likes, pressures or greed."
Yaalon concluded, "Leadership decides after deliberation and implements, and does zigzag because of critics. Leadership - is to decide and to do what is right for the state, and not what seems popular at the time. Leadership needs a leader. It's time for other leadership."
