Chairwoman Tamar Zandberg of the Meretz Party has called Chairman Avigdor Lieberman of the Yisrael Beytenu Party "a failed defense minister," in response to Liberman calling Meretz members hypocrites after they called for an investigation into the killing of terrorists in Gaza last Friday.
Zandberg said, "He has no solution to our security problems and that of the residents of the Gaza perimeter, so he will stall until the next round. Like every time he is in distress, he tries to pull more incitement from his sleeve. Once it's a racist boycott against Arabs, once the death penalty, and this time it's incitement against me, against Meretz and against the entire left." She said that incitement "has consequences that can be violent and dangerous."
