President Reuven Rivlin has informed Naomi Polani, the mythological director of military music ensembles and founder of the Hatarnegolim and Hamzitzim bands, that he intends to give her special recognition at the 70th Independence Day ceremony at the President's Residence.
Polani will receive a special tribute during the ceremony for outstanding soldiers, when on stage the soldiers of the military bands will perform the song "There's no way back to return" (Ein Kvar Derech Chazara in Hebrew - lyrics: Yoram Taharlev, melody: Yair Rosenblum). The president hopes that her health will enable him to say her praises to her personally during the ceremony
