Acting on intelligence information, Border Police stationed at the A-Za'im Crossing near Jerusalem found an Palestinian Authority resident trying to enter Israel illegally in the trunk of a suspicious vehicle today.
The driver, a resident of the Mount Scopus village of Issawiya, and the illegal, a resident of Hevron, were detained for further investigation and the vehicle was confiscated.
