State Comptroller Yosef Shapira has written to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, asking for a response to the family of Lieutenant Hadar Goldin regarding their claims related to the state's handling of the return of Lieutenant Goldin's body to Israel from Gaza, where it has been held since the 2014 Protective Edge counterterror campaign, before Shapiro considers how his office will handle the matter.
Shapira recently met with members of the Goldin family, and received a detailed document from them regarding the matter.
