The state has submitted a request to the Supreme Court to extend the date for submission of the supplementary and updated response to petitions demanding that the state be prohibited from deporting infiltrators to third-party countries according to current procedures.
The request said the state needed until April 9th in order to enable the most senior legal and political echelons to take up the issue closely. The state further asked to submit a confidential document that can be presented to the court only, which has an additional weighty bearing on the basis of the extension request.
