Minister Ze'ev Elkin has congratulated Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat on his decision to run for the Likud Knesset list.
Elkin said, "As Jerusalem and Heritage Minister, who deals daily with the strategic and national affairs of Jerusalem, I have worked with Nir in full cooperation and he has made a great contribution to the advancement of Jerusalem in the past decade. I have no doubt that his joining the national leadership of the Likud will strengthen the party, will contribute to us in the next elections and will strengthen the Likud's performance in the next term."
