Former Yisrael Beiteinu Member of Knesset Anastasia Michaeli said on Sunday that she has received proposals to return to political activity but has rejected them all.
Writing on her Facebook page, the religious mother of eight said, "I must make it clear: I have retired from politics and I do not intend to return to it soon, neither to national politics nor to local [politics]." She wished success to all those who have chosed the path of political office. The former presenter on Russian-language Israeli television served in the Knesset from 2009 to 2013. In December 2012, toward the end of the formation of the Yisrael Beiteinu party for the 19th Knesset, Michaeli announced her resignation from political life.
