Authorities are investigating a fire which broke out this afternoon in an apartment on Mesilat Yosef Street in Modi'in Illit, about halfway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
The police, firefighters and the Magen David Adom emergency service were dispatched to rescue the occupants and extinguish the fire. The fire was brought under control with no injuries reported.
