NY UJA-Federation CEO: Sharansky a 'Hero of the Jewish People'

CEO Eric S. Goldstein of the UJA-Federation of New York has congratulated outgoing Jewish Agency Chairman Natan Sharansky for being named winner of the 2018 Israel Prize.

Goldstein called the Soviet Jewry icon “so deeply deserving of the Israel Prize,” noting, ”Natan has led The Jewish Agency over the last decade with strong resolve and tremendous wisdom. He is a true hero of the Jewish people.”
