The terrorist who committed the stabbing attack in Jerusalem, 'Abd al-Rahmani Bani Fadal of the Shechem-area Palestinian Authority village of Akraba, had a temporary permit for a week that allowed him to enter Israel to search for work.
He had received such permits in the past. The permit was issued because there was no intelligence or security indication of terrorist intentions.
