Noam Schalit, whose son, Gilad, was held captive by Hamas in Gaza, has criticized former prime minister Ehud Olmert on the affair, both in Olmert's book and in an interview given to media personality Gil Riva. The senior Schalit said, "Olmert failed throughout his watch and only says he had a better deal, which is not true."
