An explosion took place near the convoy of Chairman Rami Hamdallah of the Palestinian Authority cabinet during his visit to Gaza.
Police say Hamdallah was not hurt. He had made a special trip to Gaza to inaugurate a desalination plant established in the framework of reconciliation with Hamas.
