Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday told NBC News that he "couldn't care less" whether or not Russian citizens interfered in the 2016 US elections.
He also asked why anyone "decided the Russian authorities....gave anybody permission" to interfere, noting that there are "146 million Russians" and not all represent the interests of the Russian government.
