Syrian forces on Saturday cut off a major highway in Damascus' eastern suburbs.
They have also cut off the main highway linking northern Ghouta with southern Ghouta and isolating the town of Duma, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Saturday.
Activists noted that the government-controlled forces took a gas station as well.
