The Knesset's Labor, Welfare and Health Committee has approved a chapter of the Arrangements Law, according to which insurance tariffs paid by employers to the National Insurance Institute for work accidents will be increased between 0.1% and 0.35% of the worker's wage (beyond the standard rate of 1.96% that all employers currently provide), depending on the level of risk of accidents occurring in each employer.

If the employer proves that he has taken measures to increase safety, he will be given a discount and the increase may even be canceled altogether. The risk levels will include, inter alia, the number of employees injured at that workplace relative to the industry to which it belongs and the degree of disability determined for them.
