Report: Hezbollah on high alert for Israeli attack

Hezbollah announced a state of emergency and high alert on Thursday for fear of an Israeli attack with American approval, according to the newspaper Rai al-Yaum, published in London, as cited by Maariv. A journalist close to the Lebanese terror group said the alert was announced in light of intelligence information that the Israeli army was carrying out secret military maneuvers in parallel to the joint maneuvers between Israel and the United States, which are now taking place in Israel and in the Mediterranean Sea, and that the American military leadership has given the green light to the Israel Defense Forces to attack Hezbollah.

The sources also said that it is quite possible that there will be assassination attempts between the March 14th and March 8th camps before Lebanon's May parliamentary elections in order to bring about a conflict between them, and to harm the elections and stability in Lebanon.
