Former Foreign Minister David Levy didn't rule out running for the president in 2021 after current President Reuven Rivlin's term is up. "Talking about what will be in three years for us is an eternity, and I can not relate to it for now," Levy told Kan. "Many approached me and explained that if there was an appeal and my party would call me to go to this big thing. I would consider it positively."

Levy had been an MK from 1969 to 2006, as well as Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Immigrant Absorption, and Minister of Housing and Construction.
