Influential PA committee rejects US moves to end conflict

The PLO Executive Committee, which is chaired by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, announced a special meeting of the Palestinian National Council at the end of April to combat US initiatives to resolve the Arab-Israeli conflict.
