The 'Im Tirtzu' NGO lauded the Knesset's passage of a bill enabling the interior minister to revoke permanent residency permits for the families of terrorists.
"The approval of the bill 'revoking the permit for permanent residency' for terrorists is a proper step that will allow the interior minister to revoke a permanent residency permit from anyone who has aided a terrorist act, including friends and family," said the group.
"The very fact that a person will remain without citizenship and without the right to residence at all is what creates deterrence, which may prevent the next act of terror. The time has come for the legislator to put an end to the theater of the absurd."
