Chairman Robert Ilatov of the Yisrael Beytenu Knesset faction said at the Sderot conference that the draft law is a matter of principle for the party and it is not willing to compromise on issues related to national security.
Ilatov added, "Every citizen should make his contribution to the state, whether in military service or in national [civic] service, so we say clearly, if the draft law passes in its present form on second and third readings, Yisrael Beytenu will leave the coalition."
